Things I miss...
1) Dr. Pepper/Mr. Pibb
2) Sushi
3) Cold Deli Sandwiches - Especially salami subs from Mona Lisa's in Little Italy and turkey subs from Subway
4) A glass of pinot grigio with dinner
5) My jeans - Granted I've been wearing most of them for years and friends/family are probably pleased they no longer have to see the same pair every other day... but the belly panel on the new jeans? Not so cute.

August 7th Appointment
Well, I didn't have to kill the ultrasound technician, so that's always a bonus!
Tom wasn't allowed in the room at first and I wasn't quite sure why... I told her within the first 30 seconds that we didn't want to know if it's a boy or girl, and she said it wasn't medically necessary for her to look. I told her I was concerned that my primary doctor would see a photo and just blurt it out accidentally... She assured me that it wouldn't happen. She spent the next 20 minutes moving around my belly and clicking on the screen - I couldn't see what she was doing and just laid there in silence. After she was done doing her measurements, Tom was allowed to come in. It was amazing hearing the heartbeat as we watched him/her move - She was great and totally avoided the lower region of Ziggy so we couldn't make any assumptions!
