See You Later, Phoenix!
Spring Training - Game Two
Back to Glendale for our second game! We got there a few hours early to enjoy some pre-game fun (that clearly included a visit to the team shop).
Grandpa scored two signatures for Cole! Thank you for stopping, Jesse Crain and Donny Lucy. The ball is sitting in a special holder in Cole's room - We look forward to the day you're both superstars and we can sell it :)

Such a generous kid
Another day that went by way too quickly!

Spring Training - Game One
Tom Joins the Fun
Scottsdale & Gilbert
On Thursday we drove to Scottsdale - We did some shopping, ate lunch and watched a performance by Native Americans at the Performance Arts Center.
First time wearing the leash in public
After a long day out and about, we enjoyed the evening at our rental home.
Golf lessons from Grandpa
After dinner and a bath, back to his new hobby!

Phoenix Zoo
White Sox Spring Training time!!
Trip started Tuesday morning at 4:30am. Woke up, finished packing and put Cole and approximately 95 bags in the back of the Vibe. We were on the road by 5:15am. Could've done without the rain at the beginning of the trip and the blinding sunrise in the middle (who doesn't love those moments when you can't see the lines on the road?), but would consider the 6 hour trip a success- Cole only started getting cranky when I pulled into the Phoenix Zoo parking lot! Grandpa and Grandma L were waiting and excited for our vacation to start!
*If you're in the Phoenix area, save your money and skip this attraction. Don't know how it considers itself a zoo with the lack of animals... Will give them credit for the Fisher Price area - It was adorable!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Shot is a bit blurry, but one of the few shots we got today - Aren't his jeans adorable?
He LOVED the St. Patrick's Day parade through Balboa Park on Saturday. We thought it would be small (aka lame) but gave it a shot... Wish we hadn't made afternoon plans! It was huge! He was the cutest thing watching the fire trucks, police cars, horses and dogs go by. A fireman gave him a plastic hat and a policeman gave him a sticker - He couldn't believe his luck! Next year we're not making any plans and going early to ensure we get a front row seat!
