Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning was perfect - We all got to witness Cole's reaction and it was priceless.  For once he was speechless!

Our tree was pretty ridiculous this year... I hoped Christmas would get bigger and better each year, and this will be a tough act to follow. 

 

We were thrilled Uncle Mike, Aunt Sarah and Robin could join us for dinner.  Pretty special having Hayden and her bff, Emerson, celebrate their 1st Christmas together.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve always consists of watching Elf, eating loads of appetizers for dinner and baking cookies for Santa.  We were thrilled Grandpa and Grandma got to enjoy our traditions with us!

Legoland

We went to Legoland the day after Cole's party - The cold and drizzle may have kept some people away, but not us.  It ended up turning into a beautiful afternoon and we had a great time with Grandpa and Grandma!

Caution: Hard Hat Area

It took a few weeks but Cole decided he wanted a 'construction site' party for his birthday. A bounce house was his only other request - We hesitated, knowing most his buddies wouldn't be able to make it the weekend before Christmas, but he always misses out at events because of his fear of other kids. 

The look on his face when he arrived at the playground construction site was the only thanks we needed.

We told him she wasn't big like him and might be scared - He had mixed feelings but didn't hesitate when it was time.

It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas

Cole found the perfect 'brownie' tree (Charlie Brown slang) and enjoyed seeing all our ornaments again, especially the 'tinger tingerbread' house and the one with Winnie the Poop on it.
