Happy 1st Birthday, Hayden!

We started Hayden's special day at the playground and then went to lunch at Rubio's with Aunt Traci. Cole loved it so much, he requested we eat there for dinner. Sure Hayden didn't mind either! My favorite part was when we got home - Watching her smear frosting all over her face and open her presents was priceless. The day was simple, sweet and perfect. Just like her.

Surf for hours - Check.
Explore a new place (Santee Lakes) - Check.
Watch kids have a great time - Check.
Slurpee - Check.
Philly cheese steak for dinner - Check.
Couple IPAs for dessert - Check.

Fun at the Zoo

Thanks to our pass, I take the kids to the zoo a couple times a month.  Cole has his favorites (flamingos, hippos, monkeys, playground and goats) but he was willing to switch it up a bit with Daddy around.  The elephants, polar bears and new koala exhibit didn't disappoint!
