Lundquist-Zanetti Family Trip to Arizona

Bags were packed... Minivan was rented... And off we went!

Nothing like traveling through the desert - Disgusting truck stops with no other options... Nearly melting from having to walk 30 feet from our stylin' ride to the entrance of the only fast food joint for miles... (The locals consider it dry heat, but they're asinine. 114 degrees is freaking hot no matter how 'dry' 'it is - May we one day get the pleasure of visiting again, Needles!) And let's not forget the fact it takes NINE hours to get to Flagstaff not SIX like GoogleMaps stated it would...

Monday, July 19th - Sedona

View from Chapel of Holy Cross

Montezuma Castle National Monument

Trolley Tour of Sedona

Heading north on Arizona 89A back to Flagstaff

Swimming at the Hotel

Tuesday, July 20th - Flagstaff

Walnut Creek National Monument - If there's shade, Grandpa L will find it!

Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument

Lunch at Cracker Barrel - Cole's 1st attempt at ordering from a children's menu

Swimming at the Hotel - Cole makes a new friend

That little boy was the cutest - He played with Cole the entire time we were there!

Wednesday, July 21st - Back to San Diego!

Short stay, but I'm so glad we made the trip. Sedona was absolutely gorgeous and worth the long drive. Cole did so well in the car, we may just have to plan another adventure soon!
