- Quickly becoming a master crawler, climber and eater
- Finger foods - flavored puffs, Cheerios and graham crackers are a huge hit. Always has a few stored in his hands (or in the bottom of his highchair)
- Prefers the jars of food that are mixes - vegetable beef or mixed vegetables with whole grain pasta go down much easier than plain old carrots
- No longer on special formula - Received a sample of the formula most babies are originally put on and decided to give it a shot - Success! What a difference - We were paying $27-29 for 16.2oz and now I can get 25oz for $20-22. Mostly relieved that he seems to have outgrown his allergies/stomach issues!
- Pulled himself up, let go and stood without support - 8/25
- Would throw a fit because he'd fall on his back and couldn't roll to his stomach... Finally figured it out! Guess we can no longer call him 'Tortuga' - 8/26
- 3rd tooth - 8/26
- Says "Ma Ma"
- Loves the water, whether it's the ocean, a pool or the bath
- Thinks everything is a game
- Has a great sense of humor - Amazes us that he laughs when he notices something is off or we're trying to be funny (keyword, trying)
- LOVES playing Tag with Tom. He won't play with me! Looks at me like I'm crazy if I try.
- Attempts to walk along the couch - Is a pro when we hold his hands and take him around the room
- Won't crawl on grass
- Loves when we hold him and run
- Gives the best eskimo kisses
- Started giving wet, sloppy kisses on my cheek - I pretty much need to bathe afterwards, but I'll take them while he's willing to give them!
- For anything that's off-limits, he's become more creative in his attempts to thwart you -It's fascinating watching his mind work.
All future photo shoots will be taking place on the ground...
