Sunday Funday
We had a great time at the Meyer's yesterday - Kids loved the pool! Cole watered their flowers while Hayden spent the majority of the time trying to drink the water and climbing in and out. Can't wait for more days like this!

*Hayden and Emerson's suits weren't planned... Sure it's the first of many matching outfits!

Happy Birthday, Tom!
We met friends at Petco yesterday - Beautiful day for a game! We took the trolley, played ball, enjoyed ice cream and hot pretzels... Think we caught a minute of the game? Didn't matter. They had a great time and so did we.
Tonight we'll continue the celebration - First date night in seven months! Thank you Uncle Brett and Aunt Traci!

Milo
Mother's Day started off a tad crazy - A few months ago our landlord had additional carbon monoxide/smoke detectors installed. We could hear our neighbor's so we went down to ensure they were okay. No one answered the door and their cars were gone, but we immediately thought of Milo, their new puppy. I was going to bust down the door, but decided a phone call to their cell phone would be more appropriate (luckily they were close and their door survived). We watched him while their levels were checked and since they were high, the firemen checked our place as well. A fire truck parked out front... Playtime with an adorable puppy... Three firemen in his home... A badge sticker... Pretty sure Cole had one heck of a morning!
We are just very thankful we were home, Milo is okay and the culprit (their stove) has been replaced!

Mother's Day
I knew yesterday would be difficult for Tom and didn't expect or want much. He somehow managed to plan the perfect day. A picnic in Presidio Park... Sushi for dinner... Cake for dessert... AND I got to sleep in and didn't change one diaper! I'm a lucky girl.
Our day: Love that we caught a few of their battles but certainly wish we captured one picture where we all looked happy/normal!

Hayden - Ten Months
Hayden is walking around like an old pro now! In two weeks she went from 3 steps, to 5, to walking across the room. People at the playground always watch her in amazement. We have a routine she loves - She walks to the stairs, goes up and over the bridge alone and then waits for me to take her down the slide. She's wearing a 3-6 month dress in the pictures below, so I know they wonder how a little peanut is moving so well! We do too.
She's still feisty and crabby, but when she wrinkles up her nose and giggles (fast breaths through her nose), all is forgiven.
The ear-tugging has stopped, and we have a new bedtime routine where I put her in before she falls asleep and sing Itsy Bitsy Spider 853 times (She was falling asleep in Tom's arms and I think she was a bit ticked to wake up and find herself in there, and figured torturing us every hour would be sufficient punishment). It seems to be working and she's been sleeping through the night again. If she does get up, it's maybe once or twice for her pacifier. Of course, the nights she sleeps well, Cole is up for water, his blankets, or a bathroom run but that's a story for another time. We're tired, we'll manage. When the next tooth starts coming in and the ear-tugging begins again, sure we'll be back to square one!
First word: Yeah - LOVE when she answers questions with it.
First wave: April 25th - Cole had a dentist appointment and she waved at everyone. Hasn't done it since!
Likes: Being held, sitting in toy bins, following Cole around, eating anything and everything (including furniture and paper), books
Dislikes: Being ignored
