Our babies are home and we're overwhelmed by the offers of help, cards and gifts from near and far.
All the surprises clearly brightened her day - Thank you.
While we were checking in we saw several children come in for their cancer treatments. While eating breakfast we noticed the whole second floor of Hayden's building was dedicated to helping those babies. While waiting for Hayden to wake up, a mother came out of the double doors wearing a Hazmat suit. She went to the nearby bathroom and we could hear her sobbing - I felt ridiculous for crying and being worried over an outpatient procedure. I cannot imagine being in any of their shoes and am very thankful for the care Rady's provides. I hope those families are surrounded with love and support and research soon eliminates all childhood cancers/diseases.
