Based on my January 4th due date, I’m 24 weeks along… but based on my ultrasounds/doctor’s file, I’m 25 weeks. Essentially, I have an eggplant sized baby in my belly- No worries, I haven’t started doing drugs… I created a profile on thebump.com and each week they send me an update with this info! Ziggy started off as a poppy seed (Weeks 3 & 4) and will eventually be the size of a watermelon (I know, how terrifying is that?!).

Average size: 13.6-14.8 in, 1.5-2.2 lb
Let your spouse put an ear to your belly -- he might be able to pick up baby's heartbeat (no stethoscope required). Inside the womb, the formation of tiny capillaries is giving baby a healthy pink glow. Baby's also soaking up your antibodies, getting the immune system ready for life outside the womb. Eyes are forming, and baby will soon perfect the blink -- perfect for batting those freshly grown lashes.
