We have had a busy two weeks!
*Felt the baby kick for the first time on August 30th. Tom was in New York for his friend's bachelor party - I stayed up late reading and felt something... Felt it again and realized I wasn't crazy! Just wish Tom was there to experience it with me. It doesn't happy too regularly at this point, but I will soon have to count at least 10 kicks per hour.
*Sarah & Mike got married!! September 4th was a beautiful day and we're so happy we got to take part in their celebration. Will post a few pictures soon!
*My parents were in town for Sarah & Mike's big day, so we were able to scratch some things off the to-do list. Nursery bedding - check! Crib assembled - check! (Thanks, Tom & Dad!) Paint - che... not so much. Two trips to Home Depot and three samples later, we are back to square one. Hopefully we'll find the perfect greenish-gray soon, but I'm kind of liking the various color squares on the wall for now -
Coming Up: Appointment on September 18th - The dreaded "sugar" test. I've heard the juice concoction is pretty gross, so I'm not only hoping I can choke it down but that everything comes back clear and there aren't any signs of gestational diabetes.
