Cole wanted to hold the party at an indoor playground 20 minutes from our home. We rented it from 10am-12pm and it was perfect. I just brought tablecloths, plates, snacks and favors - Two workers came to our car for it all and packed everything up when we were done. So nice being able to chat, take pictures and not worry about a thing.
I wanted to do more but realized it's two hours, the kids wouldn't even notice and renting out the space was enough on the wallet. Pinterest and party blogs really make me feel inadequate, but at this point it would be more for the adults than the kids. I know Cole had an amazing day without all the extras and that's all that matters.
Aunt Traci and Uncle Brett got Cole's cake - He LOVED it and was so excited he could keep the cars
You should've seen Em's face when she realized I wasn't Mommy - I certainly enjoyed our two minutes of bonding!
